The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Right Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has sends his deepest condolences to the family of AbdulRazaq Bello over the passing of the veteran journalist.
The speaker in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on New Media AbdulMumin Yunusa, described Bello as an important member of the fourth estate of the realm who dedicated all his life using his profession to serve God.
The speaker sympathizes with the Bello family, Radio Nigeria, the Nigerian Union of Journalists, and everyone impacted by this painful loss.
In the same vein the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kwara State Council has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Bello
In a statement jointly signed by the council’s Chairman, Abdullateef ‘Lanre Ahmed, and Secretary, Comrade Omotayo Ayanda, the union conveyed heartfelt condolences to Bello’s family.
Known for his humility, diligence, and commitment to journalism, he made significant contributions through his unique writing style and insightful reporting, especially on proceedings at the State House of Assembly.
The NUJ Kwara State Council acknowledged Mr. Bello’s dedication to truth and fairness, which earned him widespread respect and admiration from his colleagues and the broader community.
In this time of mourning, the council expressed solidarity with Mr. Bello’s family, friends, and all who were touched by his exemplary life and work.
The union prayed for the Almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal rest and provide his family with the strength to endure this irreplaceable loss.
