As the airlift of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage enters its final stage, Kwara State has successfully airlifted 85 percent of its pilgrims to the holy land. The expected arrival of flight 8 in Madinah later this evening will further bolster the state’s presence for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage.
The Kwara State Pilgrims Welfare Board, in collaboration with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), has assured that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and seamless process for the pilgrims.
These arrangements include providing accommodation, transportation, feeding, medical facilities, and all necessary visitation arrangements for the pilgrims.
The overall airlifting of Kwara State pilgrims has been largely successful, with only a few cases of pilgrims caught with kola nuts.
The stakeholders remain determined to continue providing support and assistance to ensure a memorable and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience for all the pilgrims.
Meanwhile, the airlifting process has been completed for pilgrims from other Nigerian states, including Oyo, Bauchi, Borno, Edo, FCT, Kogi, Lagos, Nassarawa, Ogun, Plateau, Yobe, and the Armed Forces.
