Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, on Thursday, September 12, 2024, witnessed the launch of its first Graduate Record Examination (GRE) center, operated by My Admission Link Education Consult.

This development marks a significant milestone, providing easier access to international standardized tests for residents of Ilorin and the surrounding region.

The GRE exam was conducted at the consult’s office, located at No. 8 Abdulrasaq Street, GRA, Ilorin, following a brief opening ceremony.

Speaking at the event, the CEO of My Admission Link Education Consult, Mr. Kayode Olanipekun, highlighted the significance of the new facility, which will now offer the GRE, TOEFL, Pearson Test, and other previously unavailable standardized exams in the state.

“With this center, students and professionals in Kwara State no longer need to travel to Lagos, Abuja, or other states to take these exams, reducing both the financial burden and the inconvenience,” Olanipekun said.

He urged parents and students aspiring to study abroad to take advantage of the center’s services, adding that the costs are more affordable compared to larger cities.

He also assured that more academic programs would be introduced before the end of the year, offering additional educational resources to the local community.

Olanipekun encouraged prospective applicants to visit the company’s website, www.myadmissionlink.com, for further details.

He noted that the establishment of the GRE center is expected to significantly ease access to global education opportunities for residents of Kwara State.
