In commemoration of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence anniversary, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti, the Olomu of Omu-Aran, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari.
The traditional ruler in a statement on Sunday in Omu-Aran, in his Nigeria’s 63rd Independence anniversary, reflected upon our journey as a nation and the progress we have made over the years.
Oba Adeoti in his message said it is a time to cherish our shared heritage, celebrate our diversity, and reaffirm our commitment to the ideals that define us as Nigerians.
“As we look back on our past, let us also focus on the present and the future we envision for our beloved nation. It is a future filled with unity, peace, and prosperity for all Nigerians. Together, we have the power to shape it” Oba Adeoti said.
The Olomu of Omu-Aran also commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his exemplary leadership in steering the affairs of the State with dedication, diligence, and a commitment to the well-being and progress of its people.
The first class traditional ruler saluted the Governor’s efforts in providing infrastructure, healthcare, education, and socio-economic development that have positively impacted the lives of the citizens and enhanced the overall growth of the state.
Equally, the Olomu of Omu-Aran extended his admiration to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, for his unwavering commitment to fostering peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence among the people of Ilorin and the larger state.
“The Emir’s guidance and advocacy for justice, tolerance, and inclusivity have greatly contributed to the maintenance of peace and stability within the region” the Olomu of Omu-Aran said.
As Nigeria celebrates its 63rd Independence anniversary, the Olomu of Omu-Aran also called on the citizens to remain united, patriotic, and steadfast in their support for the government’s initiatives aimed at building a prosperous nation.
Oba Adeoti posited that achieving a resilience country through the present government in power is already at our doorsteps with a focus on sustainable development.
He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in overcoming challenges and achieving sustainable development.
