The President and Founder of MAI Foundation Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia has said that the struggle for a better Nigeria continues, noting that it is essential to address the ongoing challenges facing our beloved nation.

Ajia stated this in a congratulatory message to Nigerians on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary issued on Sunday in Abuja by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan and made available to Journalists.

According to the statement, “As Nigeria celebrates its 63rd independence anniversary, it is crucial to reflect on the progress made so far, while acknowledging that the struggle for a better Nigeria continues.

Ajia acknowledges the fact that, Nigeria has come a long way since gaining independence in 1960, but pointed out that Nigerians cannot ignore the fact that we still grapple with numerous challenges that hinder our growth and development.

According to him, “From inadequate healthcare and poorly funded education systems to corruption and socioeconomic inequality, the struggle for a prosperous Nigeria continues.

“Undoubtedly, Nigerians are facing serious economic challenges, made worse by rising exchange rates, fuel subsidy removal, dilapidated infrastructures, and other pressing issues. Our beloved nation is also grappling with the scourge of security challenges, including kidnapping, unknown gunmen attacks, banditry, and various other security concerns.”

“In these trying times, it is incumbent upon us, as Nigerians, to remain patient and resilient as we navigate through these turbulent waters.”

On this momentous occasion, Ajia calls upon Nigerians to remain united and steadfast in our pursuit of a brighter future. While progress has been made in certain areas, it is imperative that we continue to fight for the eradication of poverty, unemployment, and social injustice.

He added, “Commitment to justice and equality must remain unwavering, and it is through collective efforts that we can bring about meaningful change.”

“Let us remember the sacrifices of our forefathers who fought tirelessly for our independence. Their unwavering commitment and determination laid the foundation for a free Nigeria. We must channel their energy and embrace their vision as we strive towards a better tomorrow.

The security expert urges the government to prioritize the needs and aspirations of Nigerians. Investing in key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and job creation will undoubtedly propel our nation forward.

“Additionally, policies aimed at combating corruption, promoting transparency, and empowering our citizens are imperative for building a strong and prosperous Nigeria.

“As we commemorate this milestone, let us not only celebrate our achievements but also reflect on the challenges that lie ahead. The struggle for a better Nigeria continues, and we must remain resolute in our determination to overcome them. This day serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to leave a legacy for future generations – a Nigeria that embodies unity, progress, and social justice.”

The Ilorin-born politician, therefore, extends his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all Nigerians who have contributed to the growth and development of our great nation.

Ajia earnestly prays for divine guidance for our dear leaders. “May God bestow upon them the wisdom and discernment needed to make decisions that will steer our nation towards progress and prosperity. It is through their vision and dedication that we can address the multifaceted issues plaguing our country and foster an environment conducive for growth.

“Let us not lose sight of our collective responsibility in shaping the trajectory of our dear nation. Together, with unwavering determination and unity, we can overcome adversity and embark on a journey towards sustainable development and a brighter future.

“May God bless Nigeria and guide us on this journey of progress and prosperity.” Let’s keep Hope Alive . The statement concludes.
