The Oke-Ode elites youth development forum under the leadership of Imamm Sheriffdeen Ajao has commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq over the appointment of Alhaji Abdulrasaq Ayobami Akanbi as the new Kwara TV boss.
The forum in a statement by its Secretary Abdulganiyu Yusuf Akogun said the appointment of Akanbi mirrors a combination of experience, brilliance, people skills, integrity, discipline, and loyalty.
“Ayobami Akanbi has performed excellently in the various positions he had held before, and we believe that he would deliver excellently in this office as Kwara TV boss to the administration of His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq the executive Governor of Kwara state,” it stated.
The forum on behalf of all the youths of Oke-ode, prays for a successful tenure and expresses its total support to the administration of the governor of Kwara state.
Akanbi, who hails from Oke Ode in Ifelodun Local Government, was the immediate past Director of State Information Services at the Kwara State Ministry of Communications, one-time Director of Information at the Kwara State House of Assembly, and a former Deputy Chief Press Secretary in the Government House Ilorin.
He is reputed for his excellent work ethic and management skills. He was the Manager of the News and Current Affairs Department at the Kwara State Television Authority before moving to the ministry.
