Bashiru Adekile, one of the four Ikare indigenes kidnapped along Ikare-owo road In August, 2022, is dead.
Adekile was one of those abducted alongside Oniku of iku quarters in Ikare Akoko, Ondo state but were later released after the payment of #3million ransom to the kidnappers
Bashiru was said to have been tortured by his abductors in the forest during his sojourn in the forest before collecting the ransom.
Family source revealed that he had been terribly sick since his release and had gone from one hospital to another as a result of internal injury sustained while in the kidnappers’ den.
Mr Adekile was said to have given up the ghost on Thursday night.
The family of the deceased in Ikare is now in pensive mood over the untimely death of their breadwinner.
