The Kwara South Senatorial candidate for Social Democratic Party Senatorial (SDP) in the 2023 general election and President of the RNZ foundation Professor Wale Sulaiman, has extended has distributed Sallah packages Muslims and SDP party faithful’s in Kwara South for the forthcoming Sallah celebration.
Professor Sulaiman who is also the Asiwaju-Ewe of Ajase-Ipo land, said the gesture is to enable party members especially Muslims have a joyous and memorable sallah celebration.
The gifts ranging from money, food items ,Rams amongst others were distributed Royal fathers, Islamic clerics, party faithfuls, elders, stakeholders, and the less privileged.
The Senatorial hopeful used the opportunity to urge all Muslims to seize the moment of the Eid-Al-Adha festival to pray for the country in this critical time of insecurity and economic downturn.
He also called for the unity and harmony among the good people of Kwara South, the state and Nigeria as a whole.
