The Oke Odè Muslim Community, Ilorin Branch, has invited the general public especially sons and daughter of Oke Ode land in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara state to the annual Ramadan lecture, which is slated to take place tomorrow, Saturday April 6, 2024.
The event according to statement made available to Sobi FM by the chairman of the branch Alhaji Mustapha Ayoku Babatunde will be held at the Ansarudeen Mosque located on Taiwo Road, Ilorin, starting from 10:00am
The statement said this year’s lecture will focus on the theme “Patience and Prayer as the Only Weapon to Combat the Current Situation of Our Country, adding that the event serves as a spiritual platform for Muslims to reflect, seek divine guidance, and strengthen their faith during this holy month.
Alhaji Ayoku emphasized that the theme was thoughtfully selected in light of the nation’s present challenges, which he believes can be addressed through fervent prayers, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Chief Missioner of the branch, His Eminence Alhaji Sheik Abdulrauf Ayinla Balogun, is scheduled to deliver the keynote lecture, using his expertise to shed light on the significance of patience and prayer in overcoming the difficulties facing the country.
Alhaji Ayoku further encouraged all members of the Muslim Ummah to participate in the lecture and to unite in prayers for the betterment and progression of Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
